2022: Acquisition tax in Israel called “Mass Rekhisha

Note that tax declarations must be made within 30 days of signing the contract and that the acquisition tax must be made within 60 days of signing the contract.

There are also special cases: the disabled, an inheritance, a gift or divorce. In these cases, the tax may be reduced or not taxed.

Regarding the purchase of land or commercial land, the tax is generally 6%.

In general, the amount of this tax varies according to the status of the purchaser (resident or foreign), the number of goods already purchased and the amount of course.

The tranches of the acquisition tax defined below are valid from January 16, 2022 until January 15, 2023.
